So, what’s new with the Ultimate V7 compared to the V6?
Let’s start by saying the V7s keep the same popular design as the V6s – they’re physically identical. The real magic happens inside!
One of the biggest updates is the multipoint technology. Now you can connect two devices at once and switch between them in no time! To toggle between devices, just pause the active one and resume playback on the other – super simple!
With the latest Qualcomm chips, the V7s deliver more detailed sound, reduced latency, a more stable connection, and full compatibility with the aptX range, including the promising aptX Lossless!
You asked for more volume, and we made it happen! The V7s hit 15% higher volume than the V6s. When you crank the volume, the V7s hit hard!
Speaking of sound, we’ve refined it even further: mids and highs are richer, while keeping that powerful bass you love. The result? Crystal-clear vocals. The V7s offer more detailed, balanced sound that will satisfy even the most discerning music lovers.
We’ve also upgraded call quality. While the V6s sometimes picked up ambient noise, making calls in noisy environments a bit frustrating, the V7s focus less on surrounding sounds and deliver a more natural voice for a better listening experience.
Another awesome new feature: you can now turn off the touch controls. And don’t worry, they’ll automatically reactivate when you put the earbuds back in their case (default mode).
For those of you already using the V6s, get ready for a small adjustment – we’ve revamped the touch controls. The V7s now feature the same touch controls as our SG Mini earbuds. This improvement makes volume adjustments smoother, something that was tricky on the V6s. Here’s a quick guide for controlling music with the V7:
Music
- Play / Pause: Double-tap either earbud.
- Return to previous song: Press and hold the left earbud.
- Skip to the next song: Press and hold the right earbud.
Volume control
- Increase volume: Tap the right earbud once.
- Decrease volume: Tap the left earbud once.
And we’ve added a low-latency “gaming” mode. The V6s were already great with latency, but the V7s in low-latency mode take it to the next level! For ultimate synchronization in “hardcore” gaming, pair the V7s with the BT-W5 adapter. This setup, tested by real gamers, offers ultra-low latency.
