To charge your earbuds, place them in the case and close the cover. Ensure good contact between the earbuds and the case by pressing down on the head of the earbuds.

To charge the case, plug it in with a USB-C cable or place it on a wireless charger.

Here are some tips for preserving the batteries:

1. Use a USB wall charger with a maximum power of 5W to 10W.

2. Avoid "fast chargers" which are adapted to recent cell phones but not to Ultimate V6 batteries.

3. Avoid letting them discharge for too long. It is necessary to recharge lithium-ion batteries at least once a month. Their power can rapidly decrease if they are deprived of power for several weeks.

4. Be careful not to overcharge them. Overcharging can be very damaging to the batteries. When the charging case's light turns solid green, it indicates that it is fully charged and that it’s time to unplug it.

5. Avoid exposing them to temperatures that are too cold or too hot. Batteries do not like hot or cold. Extreme temperatures can affect long-term battery performance.

6. When not in use, place the earbuds in the charging case.

7. Do not play with the case. The battery life may be reduced by repeated opening and closing of the case.

Case

When the light is yellow-green, it indicates the case battery is low (1-20%).

When the light flashes green, it indicates that the case is charging (20% -99%).

When the light is solid green, it indicates that the case is fully charged.

Earbuds

The lights turn on when the earbuds are pairing to a device, during an incoming call, or when you reset them.

None of the light signals on the earbuds have any connection with their charge level.

Case

To figure out how much charge is left in the case, put it on a wireless charger or connect it with a USB-C cable.

If the light is pale yellow-green, it indicates that the case's battery is low (1-20%).

If the light is slowly flashing green, it indicates that the case is charging (20%-99%).

If the light is solid green, it indicates that the case is fully charged.

If your earbuds stay connected or connect by themselves when placed in the case with the lid closed, it is a sign that the case is low on charge.

Earbuds

Your earbuds' charge level can be estimated by checking the charge estimate provided by the device to which they are connected.

On your phone or tablet, open the control center by sliding your finger down from the top right corner. You will see the estimated percentage of battery life left.

On your computer, the estimated battery life can be found in your Bluetooth settings, next to the Ultimate V6 connection.

If a technical problem occurs, reset your earbuds by following the steps below:

1. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select the Ultimate V6 and click Forget Device.

2. Place both earbuds in the case.

3. Quickly tap 5 times on both earbuds simultaneously.

4. The light will flash green once, then turn red.

5. Remove both earbuds from the case and re-pair.

Case

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the charging case. If necessary, moisten the cloth lightly with isopropyl alcohol. Allow the charger case to dry. Make sure not to get any liquid in the charging ports.

Earbuds

1. Remove the silicone tips.

2. Gently remove the wax with a wooden toothpick or small, fine-bristled brush. Make sure not to push any debris deeper into the earbud grille.

3. Clean the earbud grille with a cotton swab soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. We recommend these swabs because they are lint-free and specially designed to clean small, hard-to-reach areas, but you can use those you have available at home.

4. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust and debris. You can also use a cleaning gel or gum.

5. Gently disinfect the outer surfaces of the earbuds with a wipe soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol, 75% ethyl alcohol, or a disinfectant wipe.

Here are a few more guidelines:

• Do not run your Ultimate V6 under water or any other cleaning product.

• Make sure not to get any liquid in the openings.

• Be careful not to get moisture in any openings.

• Do not use sharp objects or abrasive materials to clean your Ultimate V6.

Small and medium size ear tips are included in the box. Choosing the right size ear tips will give you better sound quality and optimal noise reduction.

The ear tips should fit the shape of your ear canal. Try the medium ear tips that are already installed on the earbuds first. Insert them into your ears in a back-and-forth motion until the earbuds "lock" into the hollow of your ears.

If the tips are too big, uncomfortable, move or fall out, try the smaller tips.

To remove an ear tip, gently pull the silicone tip until it comes off.

Replace the other tip by lining it up with the connector and pushing it in until the red part covers the connector.

First, make sure your case is fully charged. When the light is solid green, it indicates that it is fully charged.

If your case has been plugged in for at least 15 minutes and there are no lights, first make sure the USB-C cable and your wall outlet are connected. If possible, try plugging the case with a different cable into a different outlet.

If your case is charging properly, but your earbuds won't charge:

1. Clean the charging pins (on the earbuds and inside the case) with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.

2. Make sure the earbuds are well placed in the case. When you put the earbuds in the case, a red light should appear for a few seconds. It indicates that they are charging. You may have to press it down a bit to make proper contact.

3. Close the case and make sure it is tightly closed.

4. Charge it for two hours.

If the problem persists, please contact our customer service at hello@soundsgood.ca.
